Test Scores- ACT: 29 I am currently a sophomore at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. I'm pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience and a minor in Gender&Health. My goal is to eventually become a pediatric neurologist. I have a lot of experience working with kids - I've been a summer camp counselor for three years, I volunteered at a preschool for 40 hours during Fall '11, and I was a literacy tutor through America Reads Tutoring Corps in Detroit, MI in 2010. As a tutor for America Reads, I developed and implemented personalized lesson plans for a kindergartener and two first grade students at Roberto Clemente Academy. From this, I learned a lot of valuable skills about working with children. Additional experience working with children includes volunteering at C.S. Mott Children's Hopsital in Ann Arbor, the Ann Arbor Hands On Museum, and the Ronald McDonald House in Ann Arbor. As I am a full time student 8 hours away, I'm only available from May-August. I'm willing to tutor all ages and most classes; these classes are just for background info!
